Hello! I’m Bobbie Jackson, and I’m so happy that you’re here to learn a little about me as you consider your next steps toward buying or selling your home in West Virginia. In the beautiful Greenbrier Valley, real estate agents are like churches. You can find one on every corner. I know that’s true, and it’s why I’m honored to have each and every one of my clients. And it’s why I’m honored you’re here to learn more about how I can help you.
I’ve been selling real estate for more than 25 years. I became a real estate agent a mere five years after moving from my hometown in the coal fields of West Virginia to the cattle country of Greenbrier County. I’ve lived here now for more than 30 years. My husband and I raised three beautiful daughters and have been blessed with five absolutely adorable grandchildren. We’ve always had a rescue dog in our home, and I’ve just welcomed the fourth – Iggy!
Living in Greenbrier County, I’ve been able to spend countless hours and miles hiking and bicycling on the Greenbrier River Trail. I’ve also become a Master Gardener, a member of the Greenbrier Gardening Club and an active part of my local church in Lewisburg, WV.
What can I say? I fell in love, and I think you will, too!
Kissing Frogs and Showing Homes
There’s something for everyone in the Greenbrier Valley, and I can’t wait to help you find the home that you’ll be proud to call your piece of “almost heaven, West Virginia.” But, sometimes, you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find your prince. It’s true in life, it’s true in real estate. Let me explain what I mean.
Whether you’re a first time home buyer or you’re returning to West Virginia to retire and live out your days in the mountains, the home you choose will inevitably be the setting of some of life’s most precious moments. You may raise your family here and scratch the walls with growth lines and the floors with the exuberance of a new puppy. You may welcome your first grandchild into your home. Your home may be a place of refuge for you or someone in need.
Recognizing the importance of that decision, I realize that you’re probably not going to fall in love with the first home we see. And that’s okay! I don’t expect you to have it all figured out before you even give me a call. I want to be the real estate agent that’s with you through the frogs so we can rejoice together when you find the one!
Your Full Time Real Estate Agent
While many real estate agents only work part time, I have made it my career. Whether you’re looking to buy a home or preparing your own home for sale, I’ll be here to help. I have won the distinction of Realtor of the Year twice, and I hope that reflects my commitment to put my clients first.
Having served three terms as president of the Greenbrier Valley Board of Realtors, I am now serving as a State Director to represent our local board on the state level. As a licensed, accredited real estate agent and member of the National Association of REALTORS®, I have earned the designation of Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI), as well as being an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR). I continue to take courses to further my education on current industry trends that would benefit you as my client.
In addition to being a real estate agent, I am also an associate broker with the State of West Virginia at Country Road Realty in downtown, Lewisburg, WV.
